La Piedra del Mediodía de Gredos is located in Navarredonda de Gredos (Barajas), in the Sierra de Gredos. It is an old farming building restored into a beautiful holiday cottage in the Sierra de Gredos.

Built using stone and wooden walls, La Piedra del Mediodía de Gredos has a large veranda and terrace with mountain views, drawing room with an open fire, kitchen, master bedroom, and bathroom on the 1st floor.

On the 2nd floor, it has a master bedroom, a double bedroom, and a bathroom. All bedrooms have wardrobes and wooden shutters on the windows.

Location:

Navarredonda de Gredos is located in the heart of the Sierra de Gredos. It is one of the most tourist towns in the area. From here you can explore the Sierra de Gredos and lots of hiking and walking trails such as Laguna Grande, Cinco Laguna, Almanzor Peak, Cinco Hermanitos, Prado Pozas, etc.

It has large swimming and bathing areas, the most popular being "Las Chorreras" on the Tormes River. Here, both the river and the passage of time have drawn three stunning natural rock pools at different heights. Another bathing area is Puente del Duque, featuring a nice picnic area.

In Navarredonda de Gredos you can also find the first estate-run hotel in Spain. It is worth visiting for its location in the pine forest and construction. You must see the surrounding mountain villages, walk along the banks of the Tormes River up to the village of El Barco de Ávila, visit Gredos Regional Park Interpretation Center in Hoyos del Espino, discover the magnificent views of the Puerto del Pico and Barranco de las Cinco Villas, and enjoy the superb local cuisine, and especially meats and steak, as well as traditional "patatas revolconas", and more!
