  Masía San Joaquín I y II is pet friendly (ask the owner).  

Old "masía" (typical local farmhouse) located in the foothills of Sierra, 1 km from the village of Agres. It features panoramic views.

The farmhouse consists of two detached self-catering holiday cottages. Ideal for groups as they are inter-connected.

One has 4 double, 1 triple and 1 single bedrooms, 2 cots and three bathrooms (two with whirlpool). The other one has 5 triple bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Both have a dishwasher, fireplace and barbecue outside (€6 per day are charged for firewood). An irrigation pond has been refurbished into a pool facility.

Location:

The "masía" is located in the middle of the valley, 1 km from the village of Agres.

You can go picking mushrooms, berries, snails, wild asparagus, persimmons, cherries, walnuts, almonds and hazelnuts, depending on time of year. Villages and activities of interest:

- Agres: Picturesque mountain village, Mare de Deu d'Agres Convent, festivals on September 1, ice cellars, Ce Moncabrer Peak, paragliding, medicinal herbs, herbero (typical drink), "timó" (thyme) tea.

- Albaida: Museum and Puppet Festival, House-Museum in Segrelles.

- Alcoy: Scenic city, monumental bridges, Moors and
Christians in April, Font Roja Natural Park, Tirisiti Nativity Scene, The Three Wise Men Parade (the oldest in Spain), typical food, "olleta" and coffee-liquor.

- Bocairente: Picturesque town, St. Blas festival in February, Jewish Quarter, altarpiece by Juan de Janes, "Covetes Des Moros", old bullring carved into the rock.

- Cocentaina: Farming and Craft Fair on November 1.
