Mi Casa Rural only offers quality holiday cottages. For that reason, our site users will not waste their
time scrolling through unnecessary screens, nor searching unsuccessfully. Our main goal is to help you
find what you are looking for, just with a click of your mouse.
Thanks to the suggestions of both travellers and owners, new functionalities have been implemented into our
web: an availability calendar, a map to locate holiday cottages, a section of featured houses with offers,
search engines to filter results by different criteria, a control panel for owners to keep updated on the
information, statistics, information requests, and more.
And there is more to come. We continue working to improve the site with the same enthusiasm as the first day.

Internet has turned into a key resource to promote this type of properties. We are quite aware that not all holiday
cottages are the same, so after making a market study, we decided to create a different green tourism portal.
A guide featuring only beautiful cozy holiday cottages with a careful decoration, awesome architecture, natural
location in unique surroundings, possibility of interesting excursions, and extra comforts, offering a fresh concept
of green tourism.
After an intense time period on the Internet - our portal was open on March 1 2002 -, the large number of visits,
as well as supportive letters and owners' gratitude confirm us that we are going in the right direction.
We have filled an important gap in the Internet, positioning in a exceptional place in green tourism sector via internet.
For example, Google, the most important search engine around the world, shows Mi Casa Rural ranked on
the first pages for "holiday cottage", "holiday cottages"
and "charming hotels" keyword searches.
