From Madrid, the best way to get to the cottage is:
-Take the A-2 to Guadalajara.
-Take Exit 58 (Guadalajara Norte-Iriepal-Taracena), then at the roundabout, continue towards RONDA NORTE.
-In RONDA NORTE (Nothern bypass), take the Exit HUMANES, then take the CM-101.
-Follow the CM-101 to Humanes, then take the detour towards Cogolludo. In Fuencemillán take the CM-1001 towards Cogolludo again.
-In Cogolludo, continue towards ATIENZA (CM-1001)
-Follow this road towards HIENDELAENCINA-ATIENZA (you will have to take a detour before reaching Atienza)
-Past the Alcorlo Reservoir, take the detour to Hiendelaencina on your left.
-In Hiendelaencina, take the first road on the right and the first left, you will find indications of LOS CONDEMIOS y VILLARES DE JADRAQUE. Please take that direction.
-Across the Bornova River, and after a few kilometres, take first turning on the right towards GASCUEÑA DE BORNOVA Y PRÁDENA. That road will take you directly to Gascueña. We will be waiting for you in the square to go along to the house. If you want to avoid weekend trailbacks, just take the radial-2 (R-2), exit 54 (Fontanar-Guadalajara Norte-Marchamalo-CM101- Polígono Industrial) and continue towards CM-101 -Fontanar or CM-101-Humanes following the instructions above.
IMPORTANT NOTE: If using a browser, or an online road guide (Michelin, Campsa...) they typically indicate a different route, which will make drive for a few kilometres more along the A-2. Although it may seem a faster route, it is just the opposite - by leaving the A-2 highway you will need to take an alternative road that is in a very bad condition. So we recommend you to follow the above instructions, otherwise you may take up to 45 minutes longer to get there. Please enter village names such as Humanes or Cogolludo into the browser to get the correct route.
