• From the N-1 or A-1 at the foot of Somosierra, take the exit at KM 99 towards Segovia by N-110. Past Casla, Pradena and Arcones. At KM 154 (in Matabuena) on the N-110, take the right detour onto SG-V-2511 (poster flag)
• From the N-VI or Ap-6, just outside Guadarrama tunnels (KM 60), take the detour to Segovia by the N-603 or AP-61.
• From Tordesillas take the exit at KM 60 towards Segovia by the N-603 or AP-61. Once at Segovia (KM 88), follow the the ring road to the N-110 towards Torrecaballeros or Soria.
Past Torrecaballeros, Collado Hermoso, Navafría and Gallegos. At KM 154 (Matabuena) of N-110 take the left detour onto the SG-V-2511 towards Pedraza. Cañicosa is just 1 km away.
After the small bridge over the creek, into the village, then right to turn the first left.
Onto a very narrow street, then take the first road to the right. The second house on the left is "Hogar del Fresno", which is accessed by a large wooden entrance gate.
