• From Madrid There are at least three routes to Robledo, including at least 3 variants.
All routes are through beautiful landscapes. We chose this route because it is easy and has stunning views.
(especially in Robledo>Madrid) to San Lorenzo del Escorial Monastery(amazing view at sunset).
Leave Madrid by N-VI to Exit 18 (Las Rozas-El Escorial), and continue onto the M-505 (El Escorial direction).
When reaching El Escorial by this route, a the roundabout with granite portico, you will see different detours. Take the 2nd Exit (Avila-Valdemorillo direction).
Continue for 850 metres more, and another roundabout, here take the 1st exit (Avila-Cruz Verde). Up Cruz Verde Pass.
Reach the top of the pass (1,256 m) and then, another roundabout. Once there, take the 2nd exit (Robledo de Chavela direction) and continues by the M-512 for 8 km.
Please pay attention to indications. Before reaching the village, 2nd entrance to the "Urbanización Suiza Española". Entering through the Central Avenue continue straight until roundabout. Take 2nd exit (C/ Almenara) and down for 1 km more along this street until you reach the house.
