La Media Legua is a holiday cottage restored in stone and wood according to its original structure. Decorated in a rustic style to make your stay as cozy and quiet as possible.

It has spacious living room with fireplace, fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, microwave, juicer, etc.), pantry, three bedrooms with three bathrooms, a reading area and board games, large windows. Sunny and breezy.

Equipped with heating, hot water, thermostatic taps, TV & DVD, local documentation and cot.

Location:

Our house is located in the heart of the Natural Park where three rivers flow through a privileged environment of forests and meadows.

"Berones", "pelendones" and other former inhabitants chose this place to settle and graze their cattle.

Over time, these men and women were giving birth to a small mountain village - Villoslada de Cameros.

Work, persistence and experience led to breeding sheep breeds. Since ancient times, transhumance has been a common practice in the south of the peninsula. A hard life full of sacrifices... Sheep, dogs, wolves, huts and streams, storms and heat, sleeping rough.

Tough but friendly poeple! Would you like to remember those times with us?

We can take your children along the paths that these shepherds used to walk. Visit the cottages (huts) where they slept and kept their sheep safe from wolves in the heart of the Cebollera Natural Park.

We can follow the flight of eagles, vultures, peregrine falcons and wood pigeons. Listen to rutting deer, shrouded in mist dawn, and watch shy and swift roe deer, the Forest Elf.

Explore lost places where a picture will keep our memory. Places where small herds of horses raise their foals freely.

Rest under the shade of beech trees, taste the typical local products with a good Rioja, or some crystalline spring water.
In our house, you home, we'll be more than happy to share these moments with you.

Must: Ermita de Lomos de Orio, Cebollera Park Interpretation Centre, Sculpture Park, Hiking Trails such as "Puente Ra Waterfalls", meals on grills along the River, Ortigosa Caves, Monasteries Route, Dinosaur Footprints, Wine Route, Logroño capital and its most typical tapas areas such as Laurel and San Juan streets, etc.
