La Erilla is a tastefully furnished new building, which preserves the traditional architecture by using most of the old building materials such as stone and oak.

There are four different apartments with their own features, and have two communal areas: a living room with wood-burning stove and a spa called "La Poza". Here you can relax and enjoy the benefits of sauna and purifiers water massages in our spa and chromotherapy bath.

Shingle-wood beamed sloping ceilings, a fireplace in living room, wood-burning stove, windows and rustic doors, etc. All this without forgetting modern comforts like beds with orthopedic mattresses, TV, DVD, TV and fully equipped kitchen.

Numerous farm objects have also been recovered and restored, including tools and objects used by our ancestors for traditional farming activities. So, being here is like taking a step back in time.

Originally it was a manor house dominated by a huge carved granite stone, which is now in the main facade. Later, it became a big house to store grain, hay and keep cattle.

The front area of the house was used as threshing floor. Back then it was already known as "La Erilla" ("The Small Threshing Floor").

La Erilla Holiday Cottages are located in Braojos, at the heart of Madrid Northern Mountains, bordering with Segovia.

Braojos is nestled at the foot of the Sierra de Guadarrama and is a dead end village. No car traffic, which makes it a peaceful place to be in close contact with nature and rural life.

But this does not mean it's a boring place, we will guide you and give you all information on the many activities you can do to make your stay unforgettable.

• Let's start with the numerous Restaurants found throughout the area, something for all tastes and budgets.
• You can also visit the famous Montejo Beech. Early booking recommended.
• Horseback riding, near Braojos, is Buitrago Riding Club where you can enjoy a nice ride.
• Hiking or biking by the many trails and paths through the region.
Skiing in La Pinilla Ski Resort, just 20 minutes from Braojos.
• Multi- sports, Archery, Quads, Paintball and Horses at La Grajera (Segovia), 20 minutes away.
• Sailing and Windsurfing in the Atazar Reservoir.
• Caving in Prádena (Segovia), 20 minutes away.
• In summer we can enjoy the Pisci-Playa (pool + beach) in Buitrago del Lozoya, Presillas de Rascafría, and Recreation Area in Cerezo de Abajo (Segovia), where you can spend a nice summer day.

Finally do not forget the countless trips to Medieval Rural Culture and the beautiful villages in the Sierra Norte de Madrid and Segovia such as Pedraza (beautiful medieval village), Sepulveda, Riaza and Ayllon.
