Located at the foot of the Sierra de Guadarrama, Palazuelos de Eresma has been until recently a small farming population (currently has about 2,500 inhabitants), whose privileged location and surrounding landscape are currently seeing considerable development.

It is 4 km from Segovia (World Heritage Site), 5 km from La Granja de San Ildefonso (Palacio Real, monumental fountains, gardens), 9 km from Torrecaballeros (Roast Lamb Route), 15 Km from Riofrio (Palace, deer in the wild), 15 km from Puerto de Navacerrada (Cotos and Valdesquí skiing resorts).

In autumn, it is traditional to go mushrooming for chanterelles and boletus edulis in the Sierra and in the stunning Valsaín Pinewoods.

If you like cultural tours, it offers a wide range of guided tours including Monumental Segovia (Segovia, La Granja de San Ildefonso, Riofrio, Sotosalbos, Collado Hermoso, etc.) to enjoy a leisurely tour around streets, squares and old Jewish quarters, visiting churches, synagogues, palaces and other monuments that take you to the medieval Segovia of the Catholic Monarchs. A short car-drive can take you to Prádena, Los Enebralejos cave, or the village of Pedraza (declared historical artistic heritage). They all won't leave travellers indifferent.
