  El Mirador del Alberche I is pet friendly (ask the owner).  

It is an artistic restoration of an old basketwork shop, on the river Alberche. Preserving the three-feet-thick old walls gives rooms the desired temperature in both summer and winter. All interior finishes, from the bathrooms to the bedrooms, preserve the traditional stone walls and coffered wood ceilings, as well as the purely handmade and rustic furniture.

The owner manages 2 300m apartments in El Mirador del Alberche 1, sleeping 10 and 11, and featuring double bedrooms, two bathrooms each, living room with pellet stove and fully equipped kitchen. Outside, a large patio is shared.

It is located in the village of Navaluenga (Ávila), south side of the Sierra de Gredos, a perfect place because of its warm microclimate.

Here in Navaluenga, it is a must to visit the medieval necropolis, Romanesque bridge, Visigoth tomb, ancient horseshoeing frame... all in the wonderful surroundings of the Sierra de Gredos.

And if you want to finish the weekend in an even more special way, we recommend you to take a walk through the ancient streets in Avila, since the house is located less than 40 km. away from this medieval city. You can also visit the Natural Museum, featuring local flora and fauna, in Barraco - about 20 km from here.
