El Castell is pet friendly (ask the owner).

El Castell is an ancient defensive wall built in the seventeenth century, originally owned by the Guerau de Paguera, named he first Marques de Foix (Baron de Rocafort) in 1710 by King Charles III of Catalonia-Aragon. In 1881 it passed into the hands of the Salesians.

For 200 years, this property, now designated, was the structural base of a historical house built on these ancient walls, known as "El Castell" (The Castle). In 1906 it was acquired by individuals who conducted several excavations in order to locate the old armory of the fort. It was never found, but left as a memento of a set of historical and archaeological passages in the houses's basement.

This iconic nineteenth century manor house located within the town of Torrelles de Foix, has been restored for those who want to enjoy a few days of rest and unwind.

Further facilities include a swimming pool with jacuzzi, barbecue, closed games nightstand, 2000 square meters gardens with fountains, gazebos to relax, hammocks, fruit trees, porch for reading, and spectacular views. Inside, fireplace, music and a cozy stylish house.
