In Cortijo Las Encinas you can enjoy a self-catering holiday cottage. Enjoy the pleasure of the cottages in Granada in the incomparable setting of the Sierra Nevada Natural Park, where you can enjoy a stay surrounded by nature, just 20 km from the ski resort and 6 km from Granada.

Cortijo Las Encinas is named because of the century-old oaks surrounding the plot. Located in the Sierra Nevada Natural Park, just 6 km from the capital.

These are two detached holiday cottages used for the rest of the family, and now have been completely refurbished and adapted. Both have hot water and central heating in all rooms, all of which have exterior windows with magnificent views. The living room has a fireplace, sofas (one double bed), coffee table and chairs for, coffee table and TV. The kitchen is fully fitted with oven, hob, kitchen utensils, coffee maker, toaster, microwave and bar. It has two bedrooms, one with king size bed, wardrobe and bedside tables, and one with two 90cm beds, wardrobe and bedside table (bed linen included). The bathroom has a shower, washbasin, bidet and toilet and two towel sets per person. It also has utility room where the washer and laundry tub are.

Outside, there is a 2000m fenced plot, with large areas for rest decorated with local vegetation, great views of the mountains and surrounded by centuries-old oak trees, where you can also park your car. There are a barbecue grill, a wood-burning stove and wooden tables so you can prepare lunch and dinner.

You may also enjoy the pool, which is covered by a wooden fence to ensure children safety.

Night lights, fountains, waterfalls and fish pond to make sure you have a quiet and peaceful holiday.

Location:

Monachil is 4 km from Granada, 650 metres above sea level and extends up to the Veleta Peak (3398 m). The earliest settlement dates back to Argar Culture, in the Bronze Age. From this historical fact to Muslim rule, no precise data about the existence of populations is known. More recently, Monachil has become mainly a farming village, which has constrained its habitat and morphology. Today Monachil is divided into 3 main areas - Monachil Village, District of Monachil and Sierra Nevada Ski Resort.

Sierra Nevada. Both in winter and summer, a beautiful place with multiple activities for its villagers and visitors.

Monachil. Just 1 km away, Monachil and Sierra Nevada Natural Park where you can find natural beauties.

Granada. 6 km. Cortijo las Encinas may be a starting point to visit places as picturesque and historic as the Alhambra, the Generalife, the Cathedral and the Parque Garcia Lorca.
