La Abuela Eugenia is in the beautiful village of Navaleno (Soria), famous for its extensive pine forests. Two large holiday cottages with 4 and 5 bedrooms respectively, which can be rented together or separately.

Optionally, we offer breakfasts. At your disposal we also put El Maño for lunch and dinner, only 1 minute walk from our house. There you can taste typical local food, especially our popular mushroom dishes.

Food culinary specialties are varied and include seasonal dishes. All carefully cooked to provide our guests a unique experience they will never forget.

You can also taste typical pinariega food, delicious high-quality game dishes and crayfish.

In our forests, there are a wide variety of mushrooms (much appreciated), including chanterelles, boletus edulis (commonly known as "migueles"), marzuelos, perrechicos, oyster mushrooms, Amanita Caesaria, etc. They are as source of inspiration for both traditional cuisine and innovative dishes.

Cañón del Río Lobos. Deep limestone canyon formed by an intense fluvial erosion of the river Lobos. Located in the foothill mountains between the Iberian Range and the high plateau of the Duero. The river runs through Burgos and continues burrowing the Cretaceous limestone along more than 25 km.
This natural area was declared a Natural Park in 1985 and covers an area of ​​9580 hectares.

The most spectacular formation is the Canyon itself.

El Burgo de Osma. Tourist Interest Village thanks to its Historical Site including the only cathedral in the province of Soria. It is well known for the Pig Slaughtering (held annually).

Calatañazor y La Fuentona. Abión river birthplace, and declared a natural monument. A few kilometres away, Calatañazor, still asleep in the Middle Ages awaits you with two Romanesque churches, a farmhouse and old rural wooden colonnade. Discover the old story of Castile. Halfway between Muriel de la Fuente and Catalañazor, you can explore the Calatañazor juniper forest.

San Esteban de Gormaz. A picturesque town located in the province of Soria. It has witnessed multiple historical events due to its strategic location on the banks of the Duero River, a natural border between Muslim and Christian lands in the Middle Ages.

La Laguna Negra. Dotted with pine trees and beech, rock shades stain Urbión Laguna Negra black. Accessed by the side of a gorge through which the waters feeding the lagoon flow down. Machado said it holds the stars within. 1750 metres above sea level.


Water sports in Cuerda del Pozo Reservoir. A reservoir of water suitable for swimming and water sports, fishing and free space. There is also a sailing club.

THE AMOGABLE Park. Located between Green Soria and Ribera del Duero. An activity that will surprise you, from tree to tree using zip lines, hanging ropes, walkways, natural bridges,... A unique experience. Discover a new way to walk in the woods!

Soria Golf Club. Just over 10 km from Soria capital and in just 20 from Garray aerodrome. Designed by Manuel Piñero and Alvaro Alonso de Noriega and opened in 2003. On an 72-hectare estate, 1100 metres above sea level, with a magnificent 18-hole layout, and ancient oaks and seven natural lakes coming into play too. Open every day of the year.

Santa Inés Ski Resort Located in Urbión mountains, next Laguna Negra, halfway between the villages of Vinuesa and Montenegro de Cameros, a unique natural setting for nature lovers.

Our activities are both fun and environmentally friendly. Wildlife makes our work possible, but we all have to preserve this environment. Our team's goal is to make our customers enjoy something more than a fun day in the mountains.
