CASA LA PORTILLA is located in a quiet neighborhood, just 800 metres away from River Trail in Llanes. It is a completely flat and paved trail running along the river Carrocedo.

This is an old Asturian house restored in 2008, preserving the original Asturian architecture using cutting-edge materials to get a unique atmosphere.

A two-storey with a loft distributed as follows:
Downstairs, living-dining-kitchen and toilet. Upstairs, 1 king size bedroom with a balcony, and one bedroom with 2 twin beds, as well as a bathroom with thermostatic shower. The loft has a sofa, TV and a bathroom with shower.

It is fully equipped with heating, bedding, tablecloths, towels, and the kitchen has a ceramic hob, fridge, microwave, oven, blender, utensils, crockery, iron, TV, washing machine, etc.

Its special location makes it the ideal place to spend a few days off, away from the bustle in Llanes, and yet to have breakfast on a terrace, buy a newspaper, take a cider shot, or tour the town on foot.

Llanes old quarter is entirely pedestrian. You can discover Basilica de Santa Maria, Casa de la Cultura, Capilla de la Magdalena, Capilla de Santa Ana, Medieval Tower (Tourism Office), as well as a large number of noble houses and palaces, such as Duque de Estrada's, El Cercáu (16th century), Miranda (17th century) or Gastañaga (built on a 14th-century tower).

We also recommend a relaxing stroll along the Pier up to La Barra, where you can admire "Cubes of Memory" by Ibarrola and then, on your way back, you cannot miss El Fuerte, Sablon Beach and the spectacular El Paseo de San Pedro on the cliffs, where you can have a magnificent panoramic view of Llanes and Sierra del Cuera.

At the fishing port, you can see how fishing boats arrive and attend the fish auctioning.
When the sea is raging, Bugones de Ballota (Llanes), Santiuste (La Franca), Arenillas (Vidiago) o Bramadoriu (Llames Pria) offer visitors an unforgettable natural show. Declared a Protected Natural Monument.
