Casa do Comediante is on Cerdeira Street, originally a Roman road called "Via Nova", the third Roman military road that linked Braga and Astorga.

The house has three apartments - two of them sleeping 5, and another one sleeping 10. For groups, our social lounge can seat up to 20.

The five-seater apartments have two bedrooms - one king-size, and one either with twin beds, or king-size beds. You can have an extra bed or cot free of charge. The apartment has a bathroom, living room with fireplace, TV and kitchen with appliances and utensils.

The ten-seater three-leveled apartment has four bedrooms - two triple and two double -, in addition to a fireplace, equipped kitchen, and two bathrooms.

Each apartment also includes:
• Free use of pool and football table in the lounge, and a collection of games.
• Local information and documentation.
• Bed linen and towels. For stays longer than 6 nights, new sets of sheets and towels every week.
• Fully equipped kitchen: cutlery, dishes, glasses, pots, pans, fridge, coffee maker, microwave, freezer, and other kitchen utensils.
• Dining-room with TV and fireplace.
• Consumables: matches, firewood.
• Cleaning set : tea towel, sponge, cloth, paper roll, napkins.
• Soap and gel dispensers in bathrooms, and kitchen dishwasher dispenser.
• Ironing board and iron. Mop, dustpan and broom.
• Utility room, including detergent and fabric softener.

Location:

The house is located in Cerdeira, a charming small village in the Navea Valley, Terras de Trives, halfway between Castro Caldelas and Trives, in Galicia. Facing Manzaneda Ski Resort, and within walking distance from Ribeira Sacra.

La Casa do Comediante is in a prime location to discover the Ribeira Sacra area (5 km), famous for its Cistercian monasteries, wineries, natural landscapes (Cañones del Sil), sailing (catamaran), hiking trails...

In winter you can enjoy the snow in this mountain area, 1000 m above sea level, or go to Manzaneda Ski Resort (25 km).

Its prime location in Galicia allows you tours to a variety of attractions, such as Santiago de Compostela, Rias Baixas, Costa da Morte, Rías Altas, Las Catedrales Beach, Coruña and Vigo.

The owner will be more than happy to provide more information and help you organize your activities.

Activities:

• The house has a heated lounge where you can play pool, table football, cards, chess, ludo, etc. Besides quiet gardens facing the apartments and different routes to discover interesting Roman ruins. Next to Via Romana XVIII.

• Ponte Navea is just 3 km away, and one of the most beautiful site in the area. There are lots of swimming areas too.

• Our strengths are food, visits to wineries, monasteries in the Ribeira Sacra, Viño Tren, Viño Bus, free hot springs in Ourense, swimming areas, hiking routes, "pedaleta" and kayaking...
