Beautiful self-catering holiday cottage sleeping up to 5. It is ideally suited for romantic getaways, though. Surrounded by tranquility and relax, you can go hiking to explore chestnut and oak tree forests, hearing the murmur of brooks, streams and waterfalls.

The cottage retains the features of local architecture, so it is a two storey with an attic. Its distribution is as follows:

Downstairs
• A lovely living room, where you can see the wood burning fireplace, and a large TV with surround sound and multimedia.
• Also on the ground floor ,there is a fully fitted kitchen separated from the lounge by the fireplace.
• From the kitchen you can access a patio, which features a wood burning barbecue.
• On this floor also a toilet for guests' convenience.

Upstairs
• There is a double bedroom and a bathroom connected by a hall. The bedroom with a 1.50-m bed, closet and TV.
• The bathroom features a spa with hot tub, remotely-controlled chromotherapy light, and a walk-in shower with steam sauna.

Attic
• Consists of two bedrooms, and a bathroom with shower.
• One bedroom with a double bed, closet and access to a terrace where you have superb views - from the Aravalle Valley, through Barco de Avila, to the Sierra de Béjar.
• The other single bedroom has a balcony overlooking the Sierra de Gredos, and a 90-cm bed and wardrobe.

Location:

The cottage is located in a very quiet little village called Gil García, 11 km from El Barco de Avila, the beautiful valley of Aravalle, in the Regional Park of Gredos.

There are wonderful views across the Aravalle and Tormes Valleys, the Sierra de Gredos and snowy mountains in Béjar. Surrounded by lush vegetation and beautiful oaks and chestnut trees.

In addition to the Aravalle River, which runs very close to town, there are numerous streams, creeks, and small waterfalls.

Close to the cottage, Lagunas del Conde and El Trampal on one side, and Laguna del Barco and Laguna de los Caballeros on the other. The village of Gil García is located next to what formerly was the glacier Galín Gomez.

Activities:

Being located in Gil Garcia, CASA DEL BUEN AMOR may be the starting point for lots of hiking, trekking, biking, or horse riding routes!
You can do a whole bunch of activities:
• Walking and hiking around Gil Garcia and nearby towns of great interest for their natural beauty.
• Hiking and mountaineering to Lagunas del Barco, Caballeros, El Duque, and El Trampal
