Azagalla Rural features have five holiday cottages sleeping two - Roble, Aliso, Álamo, Aguamarina SPA and Ámbar SPA (the latter opened in February 2011). In Casas del Abad (a small rural village in the municipality of Umbrías), in the Aravalle region, within the Gredos Mountains Regional Park.

El Roble, El Aliso and El Álamo are two-storey holiday cottages (the living room, kitchen and dining room are downstairs, and the bedroom and bathroom with whirlpool tub are upstairs). We have combined a beautiful ancient style and modern quality, which makes them ideal for any time of year, as they are warm in winter and cool in summer.

The holiday cottages are integrated into the environment. You will find them tastefully decorated featuring large windows with views of the Sierra de Gredos and a small porch at El Álamo.

Central heating and hot water, fireplace (including firewood), flat screen TV, vcr, dvd, stereo, Canal Plus, internet, board games, fully equipped kitchen with microwave, refrigerator, extractor , blender, juicer, toaster, coffee maker, tea towels and cleaning supplies.

1.5 m. bed, bed linen and towels, Jacuzzi for two with bubble bath, colour therapy and ozone therapy. They also have bed or cot for children/babies and two mountain bikes.

Aguamarina SPA Y Ámbar SPA luxury and relaxation in Gredos.

These cottages are thought and designed specifically for couples to relax and enjoy, including an exclusive wellness area to make dreams come true. They consist of three different spaces, and quality materials have been used in perfect harmony with furniture, light, colours and décor.

The plaza is accessed via a wooden door. Past the hall, you can access the lounge kitchen diner. The living room with fireplace, relax sofa, 32" TV with USB, card reader and stereo with USB input.

The fully equipped kitchen with hob, extractor hood, microwave oven with grill, dishwasher, washing machine, juicer, blender, toaster, coffee maker, Tassimo multibebidas, cutlery, glassware and tableware, tablecloths, tea towels and cleaning supplies.

The three-seater SPA, including colour therapy LEDs with color therapy and two-seater infrared sauna with chromotherapy, music and mood lighting are in the wellness area.

On the top is the loft en suite bedroom (with 1.5 m viscoelastic bed and pillow). Massage chair (shiatsu and kneading). From the bedroom you can access a typical wood and wrought iron balcony, overlooking the Sierra de Gredos.

Location:

We have spectacular scenery in any season since we are surrounded by oaks and a variety of other trees like poplar, alder, ash, willow, chestnut, walnut, apple... big snowy mountains in winter (Sierra de Gredos) and the beautiful villages in Aravalle.

The Jerte Valley famous for its cherries, is just five minutes away, and Yuste Monastery is quite close too. Candelario and its mountains and Covatilla Ski Resort. El Barco de Avila (and its popular beams) and Piedrahita. Numerous lakes and gorges to visit and bathe.

Activities:

Hiking in Aravalle or the mountains, horse riding or quad biking, mountain biking, swimming in rivers and gorges, archery, canoeing down the Tormes, hunting, fishing, mushroom, skiing...
