Environment & Activities A Cabana de Carmen

Cabanamoura lies on the western slope of A Pena range, down a narrow hilly valley, between meanders drawn by the river Das Donas in Outes all its way down the marshes of the river Tambre. A prime location surrounded by Ria de Muros y Noia, Costa da Morte and Rias Baixas.

In the reception room you will find plenty of local information including brochures, maps and guides for shorts gateways from the Atlantic Coast, Lighthouses Route, charming paths inland Galicia, or just to follow the path of walkers guided by the Milky Way toward the end of the World ("Camino de Finisterre").

From our house you can visit the old quarters in Muros and Noia, explore the nearby beaches on the estuary, plan longer trips to Santiago de Compostela, take a tour in the Rias Baixas, or enjoy a spectacular sunset over Costa da Morte.

Watching stars in the dark night; listening to the murmur of pristine water, the Owl and the Cricket singing, or just silence; feeling calm, loneliness, distance and quiet of the countryside will make your stay a unique experience of sensations.

The old roads running through the surroundings offer travellers varied and picturesque spots to explore - these walking routes are a delight for the senses, and discovering natural aromas in the forest an escape for the mind.
